Register for Portal Access

This Mining Cadastre Portal is open to both existing and prospective holders of mineral rights to submit applications for new licenses and to manage existing licenses. Access requires representatives to register using one of the registration methods detailed below.

 

I wish to complete an online registration

  1. Prospective applicants must first prepare digital copies of the following documents before clicking on the “Register for account” link below to complete the online form:
    1. A completed digital copy of registration form MCP01
    2. Proof of identity (National Identity Card / Passport)
    3. If an employee or agent, legal authorisation from a government entity to use the Portal on behalf of the company or person (e.g. power of attorney)
  2. A user profile will be automatically created in the Mining Cadastre Portal and an email sent to the user's registered email address with a link to set a password for the first time.
  3. The Ministry of Mining and Petroleum, Regional Mining Authority or City Administration will then verify the submitted documents and application, and if no problems are detected, an email will be sent to the applicant confirming their successful registration.

I wish to submit a registration form in person

  1. Applications to register for access to the Mining Cadastre Portal can also be presented in person by the individual who wishes to use the portal. The application must consist of:
    1. A completed hardcopy registration form MCP01
    2. Proof of identity
    3. If an employee or agent, legal authorisation to act on behalf of the company or person.
  2. Once the Ministry of Mining and Petroleum, Regional Mining Authority or City Administration has processed the application, a user profile will be created in the Mining Cadastre Portal and an email sent to the user's registered email address with a link to set a password for the first time.
